Marking the 80th Anniversary of VE Day in Islington

Beacon Lighting
Join the Mayor of Islington to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day!
Guests are invited to assemble at Dartmouth Park from 9.00pm using the gates on Bickerton Road and Dartmouth Park Hill.
A brief ceremony will begin at approximately 9.20pm, with the beacon lighting taking place at 9.30pm.
Access and facilities: Please note that benches will be available on site on a first come, first served basis. There are no toilets on site. Guests are advised to dress suitably for the weather.
Transport: TfL Buses 4, C11, 134, 390 all run locally. Archway (Northern line) is approx. 10 min walk and Upper Holloway (Suffragette line, Overground) is approx. 15 min walk from the park. Parking can be found on Bickerton Road, Dartmouth Park Hill and Junction Road.
This event is open to any members of the public who would like to attend.
