LEGO Get Together

As part of Creativity Month earlier this year, Age UK national's Communications Team did a feature on our LEGO Get Together which Age UK Islington run in partnership with the Toy Project. They spoke to regular attendee Kim and took some wonderful photos!
Kim has been attending the group for the past year and has created some incredible sets, despite never having worked with LEGO before. She is currently building a truck and enjoys working with technical LEGO as a way to improve her focus and improve her motor skills.
"I have really stiff hands which can get quite painful, but it's nice to get your fingers moving."
The Lego Get Together is a small Get Together that meets every Thursday 1.30 - 3.30pm at The Toy Project, Archway, N7. If you'd like to attend, you'll need to book: activities@ageukislington.org.uk. It's a small group, so places are limited.
Age UK Islington Get Togethers
