Sharing a round-up of Islington Festive Activities that are taking place across the borough.
Festive Lights - Whitecross Street
Friday 1st December, 4 - 6pm
Whitecross Street, EC1Y
Join for the Mayor’s festive lights switch-on, while snacking on Santa’s finest (and free) mince pies. Kids can enjoy face painting plus arts and crafts, alongside a festive market.
Christmas Family Craft Session & Wreath Making Workshop
Saturday 2nd December, 10am - 2pm
Hilldrop Community Centre, Community Lane, Hilldrop Road, N7 0JE
Join the Hilldrop Community Centre Christmas Family Craft Session, where they will also be hosting a wreath making workshop with Islington Adult Community Learning. The wreath making workshop will run from 10am-12pm. Refreshments and materials provided.

St Luke’s Community Centre Christmas Fair
Saturday 2nd December, 11am - 3pm
St Luke's Community Centre, 90 Central Street, London, EC1V 8AJ
Come along to the St Luke’s Community Centre Christmas fair. Free entry for local residents of all ages. On the day you will be able to join workshops making Christmas cards and decorations. Take a picture of yourself in the festive photobooth back drop. Play tombola, bauble bingo or join in with an art class.
This year you will be dazzled with Santa's Grotto which is open from 12-2pm. Tickets for the grotto are on sale at £2. Members can pre-buy their tickets from reception as there are limited places.
Festive Lights - Chapel Market

Enjoy festive tunes, facepainting and crafts – and bag a bargain while you’re at it! The winner of this year’s Market Trader of the Year Award will also be announced on the day.
Spreading the Warmth
Monday 4th December, 2 - 4pm
The Old Hornsey Baths, 2 Tiltman Place, N7 7EE
Organised by the Collective Acting Studio. This is a show for older people in Islington that will take everyone down memory lane with singing and dancing and a delicious homemade tea with mulled wine. Games with prizes. It will be fun entertainment and a chance for the old and the young to come together.

Carers Christmas Lights & Markets Walk

Wreath Making Session

Youth Winter Market and Festive Celebration

Carol Singalong

Christmas Dinner and Dance
