The generosity of our community means that Islington Giving have been able to support residents like Sazan - a single parent with a young baby who Age UK met during local outreach work. Sazan receives Universal Credit but relies on her local foodbank each week and has mounting fuel debts she can’t pay. The emergency funding helped her pay off some of her debt, giving her space to breathe and reducing some of her anxiety.
