Home Care Services

Islington Council's Adult Social Care services are looking for resident feedback on their proposed new Home Care model.
Islington Council would like to speak to residents to collect views on developing a new model for home care. Home Care is a service whereby paid carers go into resident homes to provide support to enable residents to live independently.
What?
Islington Council wants to improve Home Care Services. Home Care is where paid carers come into your home to help with care and support, so you can live at home for as long as possible.
How?
We would like to hear from you to have a chat about what good home care looks like to you and/or your family.
Who?
Islington residents who have received Home Care or a similar service, but also their family, friends and carers or anyone interested in improving social care.
Why get involved?
- I would like to think about how services can be better and more user friendly
- I want to make sure my family member gets the best care in their home
- I have personal experience which I would like to share
- I want services to understand what’s important to me and my community
What’s next?
We want to make sure your time and experience are the most important part of this work. We will ensure you are able to work with us in ways that you find comfortable (phone, face to face, online). We also will make sure you are paid for your time with us by various payment schemes. An officer can give you more information about this.
