Support a Chatty Brew and make a difference in the lives of older adults in our community. Your contribution can help create a warm and inviting atmosphere at our monthly gatherings. There are several ways you can support us:
Donate Cakes, Refreshments or Raffle Prizes
Your delicious contributions can enhance the experience for attendees and make our events even more enjoyable. We also run a raffle every month and the money raised by tickets helps us to support the running costs of our Good Neighbour Scheme.
To ensure the safety and inclusivity of all attendees, we kindly request that donated items adhere to the following guidelines:
- Packaged, shop-bought, or donated from a certified establishment: To uphold food safety standards, we ask that donated items come from sources such as packaged goods, shop-bought items, or establishments holding relevant food safety certificates.
- Ingredient Transparency: In consideration of dietary requirements and allergies, we must be informed of all ingredients present in donated consumables.

Offer Your Venue
Provide a welcoming space for our Chatty Brew events to take place, creating a comfortable setting for socialising and connection.
We've held our events at a variety of venues and welcome new and interesting types of establishments to partake. Previously we have held these events at locations such as Busy Bee Garden Centre, The Old Smithy Tea Room, Haseley Manor and even Medina Cowes Bowls Club for a 'Brew and Bowls' Chatty Brew event. Venues such as pubs, community halls and local tourist attractions are perfect for Chatty Brews.

Host Your Own Chatty Brew
Organise a fundraising 'Chatty Brew' event to raise funds in support of Age UK Isle of Wight. All the money raised for Age UK Isle of Wight stays right here on the Island and supports the services avaliable to local older people.
