Age UK Isle of Wight is delighted to announce the launch of our weekly Dementia Care Navigators (DCN, also known as Older Person's Mental Health Navigators) drop-in service, starting on Friday, 5th July. Drop-ins will take place every Friday at the new Alzheimer's Cafe at Parklands, which opened in mid-May and is rapidly evolving into an Island hub for support for individuals affected by memory-related issues.

Statistics from the NHS reveal that over 850,000 people in the UK are currently living with dementia, with approximately 540,000 serving as primary caregivers for loved ones with the condition. Recognising the critical need for support in this area, Age UK Isle of Wight's DCN service offers free assistance to all individuals seeking guidance and information. Find out more about the service here.

Join us at Parklands every Friday from 11am to 1pm to meet our dedicated Dementia Care Navigators and access the valuable support they provide. No appointments necessary – simply drop in and connect with our team.
