Life-Saving Defibrillator Finds New Home at Tile House in Shanklin

We are pleased to announce that our defibrillator has found a new home at Tile House in Shanklin. As we are moving from our Newport High Street office to St Thomas' Square, we wanted to ensure that this life-saving device was put to good use by a deserving organisation.
Tile House, a residential home for older people on Victoria Avenue, will now have access to the defibrillator for any medical emergencies that may arise. We are confident that they will be able to make good use of this important piece of equipment.
Less than 1/10 people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the UK, highlighting the critical importance of having defibrillators readily available in public spaces. Every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces the chance of survival by 10%, underscoring the need for quick access to these life-saving tools.
Please be aware of the several other locations in Newport where defibrillators can be found now that ours has been donated, including Newport Methodist Church, the 02 Store, Newport Ale House, and more. For a full list of defibrillator locations, you can visit www.defibfinder.uk.
We are grateful for the opportunity to donate our defibrillator to Tile House and are confident that it will be put to good use in their care facility. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in this decision.
