Volunteers Celebrated at Garden Tea Party

Age UK Isle of Wight recently hosted a garden party to show appreciation for the incredible volunteers who give their time and energy to support the older adults in the Island community. The event was a celebration of the invaluable contributions made by these individuals.
The garden party, complete with delicious afternoon tea, cakes, and friendly conversations, was a small token of gratitude compared to the immense impact that volunteers have on the organisation. A raffle with prizes donated by staff, supporters, and local businesses added an element of excitement to the festivities, with special thanks to Busy Bee Garden Centre for their ongoing support.
Although not all volunteers could attend the event, their dedication and commitment were acknowledged and praised. Age UK Isle of Wight extends sincere thanks to all volunteers, whether present at the garden party or supporting from afar.
The event served as a reminder of the importance of volunteers in enabling Age UK Isle of Wight to reach and assist more individuals in need. Their selfless efforts truly make a difference in the lives of many, and their contributions are deeply appreciated.
