Christmas Shoe Box Hamper Appeal 2025

The Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire Christmas Shoe Box Hamper Appeal will kick off in October 2025, and we need your help to bring festive cheer to older people in our community.

Last year, we were able to deliver over 1,000 Shoe Box Hampers to elderly people who are lonely, isolated, and have no one to celebrate Christmas with. As our appeal continues to grow, we are reaching more and more individuals who are in need of support, and this is where you can make a real difference.

How Can You Help?

We’re looking for drop-off points across Hull and East Yorkshire where you can donate your filled Shoe Box Hampers. Could your business or organisation be a drop-off point?

We also need donations of items to fill these hampers. Some of the items we are looking for include:

  • Chocolate and treats
  • Toiletries and gifts
  • Non-perishable food

Maybe you’d like to donate some hampers you’ve already made, or volunteer your time to help us sort and organise the hampers at our office?

You can also support us by donating £10 to help create a hamper, or by purchasing items directly from our Amazon wish list.
