Age UK Hull appoints new CEO

Age UK Hull is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Haynes as the new CEO.

Peter Duffield, Chair of Age UK Hull Board of Trustees said:

“On behalf of the Board of Trustees I am really pleased to announce Andy’s appointment as CEO of Age UK Hull. He comes with a wealth of experience of leading the development of successful, sustainable and impactful people focused services in the voluntary sector. Over the last three years we have carried out a significant amount of work to stabilise our finances and develop our reputation as the “go to” charity for older people, including of course successfully overcoming the challenges of the pandemic. With Andy’s appointment we are both excited and confident that Age UK Hull will continue to provide excellent services and develop new partnerships and ways of working that will enhance the support for older people so that they may live independent and fulfilling lives.”

Andy Haynes, Age UK Hull CEO, said:

The work the charity has done to transform its financial base and manage the challenges of the pandemic provides a really good platform for future development.
