Age UK Hounslow is excited to announce the hosting of a comprehensive Advice and Information Fair as a key event during Hounslow Seniors Month this September. Building on the success of the members-only event held in January 2024, this fair is open to all and aims to connect local residents with essential services, activities, and support networks designed to help them live well in their later years.

Date: Friday 13th September 2024
Time: 11am-3pm
Location: Age UK Hounslow, Southville Community Centre, Southville Road, Feltham TW14 8AP
Age UK Hounslow invites all local residents, service providers, and community organisations to participate in this event, where they will have the opportunity to hear about local services. Whether you are looking for information, seeking to offer support, or simply wanting to learn more about local resources, this fair is an invaluable opportunity to engage with your community. The community will also get the chance to partake in various workshops.
Join us in making Hounslow a community where everyone can live well and thrive in later life.
Event Outline:
11am-11.15am Arrival and time for tea or coffee
11.15am Introductions from services at the event and presentations from a number of organisations, such as Social Prescribers, the Stroke Association and Visiting Angels.
12pm Lunch with an opportunity to visit the marketplace stalls of local organisations, charities, and support networks, sharing information about their services.
1.30pm-3.00pm Free workshops, such as Tai Chi and Chair Based exercise.
