Age UK Hillingdon, Harrow Brent is an established charity supporting older people in the community and are looking for passionate individuals to join our Board of Trustees. If you or someone you know is interested in making a meaningful impact, this could be a great opportunity!
Here are some key points about the Trustee role:
- Monthly Meetings: Trustees meet monthly to provide governance and strategic direction
- Support and Oversight: The Board supports the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team, overseeing the charity’s work
- Varied Experience: We are particularly looking for expertise in Financial Management, Marketing and Communications, Estate Planning, Charity Retailing, and Fundraising/Income Generation
- Induction and Development: New Trustees receive a thorough induction and ongoing support to feel empowered and integrated into the organisation
- First time & Diverse Trustees: We are especially keen on incorporating first time and younger Trustees as well as individuals from diverse backgrounds to bring fresh perspectives to our charity
