Help our elderly community beat loneliness

We may be alone but TOGETHER, with your help we will be there for older people.
Befriending Service
This service usually offers face to face and telephone support, helping people who feel isolated and lonely or struggle with motivation and confidence to do the things they used to enjoy - taking them shopping, out to parks, posting letters.
A gift donation of £10 could provide one hours befriending support.
Good Neighbour Scheme
This service provides help to older people with small tasks that they cannot manage on their own, whether it is one off or occasional help, to attending a health appointment, sorting paperwork or getting to grips with a computer and shopping.
For example, the service had a referral for a gentleman who returned from hospital and had no food at home. One of our staff drove to the gentleman's address and delivered an emergency food package. He was very grateful.
A donation of £20 could provide one hours practical support
