We understand that older people face many barriers in access to services and so we aim to make our services as accessible and inclusive as possible. That is why we have clubs that meet the specific social and cultural needs of older Asian people in the North of Hertfordshire
What we offer
Our clients join us for an afternoon of refreshments, socialising, informational talks, chair-based exercises, and occasional outings. Not only are our staff trained to support older adults at the clubs but can assist with translation for anyone needing assistance whose first language may not be English. This includes Punjabi, Urdu, Guajarati, and Hindi so that we can ensure they have access to the information and advice that they may need. Both clubs run between the time of 12-3.30pm, with transport and refreshments all included within the cost.
