Privacy Notice
Age UK Hertfordshire collects your data when you sign up for one of our services, request information, donate, join our mailing list/s or volunteer for us. We use this data to inform you of services we provide to help you live independently, to tell you about groups you may be interested in attending, and to give you general updates and information and advice to help you ‘Love Later Life’. If you receive services from us, we need this data in order that we can give you the very best service we can!
However, you can be assured that everyone here at Age UK Hertfordshire promises to treat your information with care – today, tomorrow and in the future.
While the majority of services we offer are exclusively from Age UK Hertfordshire, some of our services are offered in partnership with other organisations such as our Age Friendly Communities work, HertsHelp and the Hospital and Community Navigation Service. In these circumstances, there are elements of your personal information that we may need to share with these partners, to ensure that we are best able to deliver the services that are right for you. The information we share will not be used for any other purpose than what you have given us consent for, and will be the minimum necessary for that service to be delivered. Our partner organisations are: Age UK National, Alzheimer’s Society, British Red Cross, Carers in Herts, Citizens Advice Stevenage, Hertfordshire Independent Living Service, Herts Mind Network, North Herts and Stevenage CVS, Watford Community Housing Trust and Watford and Three Rivers Trust, as well as Hertfordshire County Council who fund some of the services we provide.
You can change your mind about us holding your data at any time by contacting us, either by phone, on 01701 323 272; by writing to us at Age UK Hertfordshire, 1st Floor, Beane Bridge House, 34 Chambers Street, Hertford, SG14 1PL or by e-mail to communications@ageukherts.org.uk.
