GP Surgery Scam

Vulnerable Hertfordshire residents have been receiving calls from an unknown caller claiming to be from their local GP Surgery.

Carers in Hertfordshire have been notified that older people have been picking up calls to people stating that they are from their GP Surgery offering 'Home Help'.

When the GP Surgery was run later on during the day, this type of help is not something that they said they are offering. 

Police have now been notified and made aware of this scam

If you recieve calls of this nature, never be afraid to question them or put the phone down, wait 5-10 minutes and call you local GP Surgery from a number that you know to ask weather this reaquest is genuine.
