Befriending Award

Earlier this year our befriending volunteers were nominated for the 2024 Kent Mental Wellbeing Awards. Although not selected as one of the eventual winners, the befrienders have been awarded Highly Commended status!
We are proud to have received this acknowledgement and want to extend our gratitude to all our 70 befrienders volunteers without whom we could not continue deliver this vital service in the community, thank you to all who have contributed and worked hard day in and day out to beat isolation and befriend and support older people in the community!
