Time and Day Required: At least one morning or afternoon per week

Minimum Length of Commitment:  6 months

Report to: Information and Advice Worker

Role Overview: You will support the Information and Advice team to help older people with the issues they are facing. You will help older people to complete welfare benefits application forms, potentially send emails or make phone calls on their behalf and help with other tasks required by the Information and Advice Worker.

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good digital skills
  • Reliability
  • Empathy and patience
  • Excellent understanding of the need for confidentiality

Experience Required:

  • Experience providing advice or supporting people to complete forms would be beneficial
