Event Photographer Volunteer
Time and Day Required: Ad hoc evening/weekend
Minimum length of commitment: 6 months or longer
Report to: Fundraising Manager
Role Overview: You will be supporting the Fundraising team to record the highlights at our fundraising and community events. You will join our team at some of our exciting events, such as our Carol Concert, Spring BBQ, or half marathons. You might also edit the photos to ensure professional quality images if you want to, but we don’t expect this as we understand it can take a lot of time. If you also have videography skills, we may also ask you to take short videos at the events.
Skills/Attributes Required:
- Competence using devices such as a digital DSLR camera and video equipment
- Knowledge and ability to take good quality, high resolution photographs
- Good communication and listening skills
- Willingness to work without direct supervision
Experience Required:
- Experience of photography and/or videography
- Experience of editing digital images and video is desirable but not essential
