Winter Volunteer Party

On Thursday, 9 December, we held our bi-annual Volunteers' Party. It was an excellent opportunity to show our volunteers how much we appreciate their hard work throughout the year.

We held the party in our Activity Centre, decorated with festive wreaths and baubles. We served refreshments, and everyone had a chance to socialize and chat over dinner.

Seeing so many of our volunteers come out to celebrate was wonderful. We would like to thank every one of them for their dedication and hard work. We truly could not do it without them! Volunteer appreciation is very important to us, and we hope to continue hosting events like this in the future.

It's Kalon Rae!

From the hit TV shows The Voice UK and The X Factor, Kalon Rae is a Brighton-based singer-songwriter with a unique contemporary style, fusing anthemic pop with cinematic, indie and urban influences.

His lyrics, lovingly crafted arrangements and soulful vocals combine to deliver eerily romantic stories which take you on an emotional journey.

Kalon has performed with the likes of Lionel Richie, George Michael, Paloma Faith, The Who, Coldplay, Muse, and Take That! Kalon sang his heart out while stealing ours at the Volunteers' Party, everyone was dancing by the end of the night.

Thank you for sharing your breath-taking voice with us and creating the most beautiful atmosphere to celebrate our 39th birthday.
