Senior Management Changes

On behalf of the Board of Trustees at Age UK Gloucestershire, I am sad to share that Matt Fellows our CEO will be leaving us on 28 February. Matt joined us almost two years ago and has played an important role in leading our charity forward, embracing our 2040 strategy and realising our vision of making Gloucestershire the best county in which to grow older. He has been an enthusiastic and impactful leader; working and collaborating effectively with other organisations, statutory and voluntary, for the benefit of older people. The Board wish Matt well in all his future endeavours.
The Board are pleased to share that we have secured the services of an experienced Interim CEO with a track record of leading independent and impactful local charities such as ours. This individual will join us in mid-February, while we forge ahead in attracting and recruiting a permanent CEO. The Board have appointed Jackie Dawkins of Shine Charity Recruitment to support us in this critical piece of work, having previously supported us in securing other members of our team. I would welcome a conversation with any individual or organisation who may be interested in supporting us to continue our efforts in making Gloucestershire the best county in which to grow older.
