Love Christmas terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions are issued by Age UK and govern its relationship with you (“You”, the “Ticket holder”) in relation to the Event.
The Event
The Age UK Love Christmas Carol Concert 2024, commencing 19:00 hrs on 5 December 2024 (“the Event”) at St Paul’s Cathedral, London, EC4M 8AD (“the Venue”).
1. Tickets
Each ticket for the Event shall be in the form of an e-ticket (Ticket). The sale of Tickets and attendance at the Event is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
- Bookings may be made online through Age UK’s appointed booking and fulfilment agent.
- Unless Age UK has given its prior permission. You may not resell Tickets or deal with Tickets in any way for example by using them as part of any advertising, competition or promotion.
- Concession Tickets only apply to those who are under the age of 12 or are over the age of 60.
- Due to the structure or layout of the Venue views or accessibility may be restricted or obstructed.
- Please notify Age UK through its appointed booking and fulfilment agent of any access requirements prior to booking, for example if you require wheelchair or mobility scooter access
2. Refunds
- Tickets cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded unless the Event has been cancelled or abandoned under the circumstances described in clause 7 (‘Events beyond Age UK’s control’).
- Any refund will be limited to the face value of the Ticket.
- If you are entitled to and desire a refund, Age UK requests that you notify it within one month, you must act in a timely manner.
- Refunds shall only be made to the person who paid for the Ticket and where possible using the same payment method as used for purchase.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Changes to the event
- Age UK may amend or alter the published details and programme of the Event.
- Age UK cannot guarantee the appearance of any named artist, host, performer or contributor whose appearances are subject to availability and any other professional commitments.
4. Recording and media equipment
- Ticket holders consent to being included in any filming and/or recording and any subsequent use or exploitation of any recording of the Event for no fee.
- Recording, broadcasting, streaming or transmitting (by digital or any other means or media) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data of the Event or the Venue is not permitted unless Age UK has given its prior written permission.
5. Admission and attendance
- A valid Ticket must be presented to enter the Venue and attend the Event.
- Ticket holders acknowledge, agree and will respect the fact that the Venue is a place of worship and will behave accordingly and appropriately at all times.
- Unsuitable or dangerous items must not be brought into the Venue, the Venue management staff may conduct security searches to ensure safety of e-ticket holders, any inappropriate items may be confiscated.
- Ticket holders are referred to the Venue’s regulations and policies including its security policy which prevents any Ticket holder from bringing any bag, rucksack or suitcase into the Venue which would be larger than airline hand baggage (45cm x 30cm x 25cm, including handles, wheels and pockets). Admission may be refused to the Ticket holders who carry prohibited, restricted or too large items as described in accordance with the Venue’s policies.
- A Ticket holder may be ejected from the Venue if they fail to comply with reasonable requests or instructions of Age UK or Venue management staff.
- Age UK shall not be obliged to provide a refund to Ticket holders who are refused entry or are ejected.
- All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Babes in arms do not require tickets. The Event is not recommended for children under 3 years of age.
- Ticket holders may only leave and re-enter the Venue during the Event at the discretion of the staff, stewards and agents of Age UK and the Venue.
- Food or drink may not be consumed in the Venue.
- Do not drop litter in the Venue, waste and rubbish must be disposed of using designated disposal facilities.
6. Late arrivals
- Ticket holders arriving late after the start time may not be admitted. Age UK cannot guarantee a seat for late arrivals.
7. Events beyond Age UK’s control
- Age UK may cancel or abandon the Event due to the occurrence of any events or circumstances that arise that are beyond Age UK’s reasonable control. Such events are so called ‘force majeure’ events such as Royal, or State occasion, and include acts of God such as severe climatic or weather conditions, fire, disease, war, accidents, acts of public enemies and terrorists, strikes, embargoes, local disputes and civil commotions, power failure, failure of equipment.
- Whilst Age UK will use its reasonable endeavours to mitigate the effects of any of the events described in this clause 7, Age UK may at its discretion re-schedule the Event or cancel the Event.
8. Liability
- Age UK’s liability to You for and in connection with the Event shall be solely limited to the Ticket price paid by You and where applicable to the Ticket booking fee (if any).
- Unless otherwise allowed and provided for under applicable law, neither Age UK nor the Venue will be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to any person or property.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to exclude or limit Age UK’s or the Venue’s liability for death or personal injury caused by Age UK’s or the Venue’s negligence, or for any other type of liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
9. Your choice to receive information and Data Protection

- Age UK will not use your personal information for marketing purposes if You have indicated that You do not wish to be contacted and will retain your details on a suppression list to help ensure that it does not continue to contact You. However, Age UK may still need to contact You for administrative purposes like where it is processing a donation or thanking You for your participation in an event.
10. Applicable law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law and are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
