Host an evening of singing, dancing, poetry or whatever your friends, family, colleagues or community can muster, all in aid of the vital work done by Age UK.

How do I get started?

  • Make sure to pick a venue nice and early. Ensure it's suitably sized for the number of people you're planning to invite.
  • Pick a date and send your invites out . Use our downloadable poster to advertise your show.
  • For ticket sales, you can either collect cash at the event or set up a JustGiving page so your guests can donate online to buy tickets in advance. You can also create and print off a QR code for your JustGiving page so guests go straight to the page on their smart phones. Visit JustGiving for more information on how to do this.
  • Plan a schedule for the acts and ensure there’s an intermission during which food and drinks can be sold for extra donations.

How will my money help?

Your money will make a real difference to the lives of older people who need us the most, whether they’re experiencing loneliness, issues around care, or the challenges associated with the cost of living crisis.
