Our partnerships with Trusts and Foundations

Thanks to funding from Trusts and Foundations, we can provide essential support for older people every day. If you represent a Trust or Foundation and are considering supporting Age UK’s work, we would deeply appreciate your assistance.

Why work with us

At Age UK, we're determined to change how we age.

We tackle the biggest inequalities experienced by older people. We provide specialist information, advice and practical support on complex later life issues, and emotional support and telephone friendship to those who need it.

Together with our partners, we’re changing the day-to-day experience of getting older through essential services and local support – whether that’s getting online or getting more active. Local Age UKs deliver these services, using their expert knowledge of their area to transform older people’s health, wellbeing and finances.

We also campaign to put older people at the heart of public policy and shift the way ageing is treated and represented.

Together, we can create a brighter future where older people feel included and valued. Our Trusts team will work with you to find the best use for your funding, and a dedicated Account Manager will keep you up to date on the difference your grant is making to the lives of older people.

I’m so thankful to Age UK. Knowing there is always a voice at the end of the phone has been life-changing.

How your support will make a difference

Whether you're supporting a specific project or providing general funding, your generosity will contribute to initiatives that improve older people's quality of life. Key areas of support include:

  • Bespoke projects and programmes designed to improve the wellbeing of older people.
  • Innovative pilot initiatives that explore new ways to support older people.
  • Groundbreaking campaigns and research that tackle ongoing and emerging later life issues, such as poverty, inequality, and older people's health and care needs.

With your support, we can continue to reach older people who face growing challenges that threaten their wellbeing and dignity. Together we can ensure older people aren’t left behind while struggling with financial instability; provide vital connections, activities and community groups to reduce social isolation; and advocate for accessible, high-quality health and social care services that meet the needs of older people.

How we work with Trusts and Foundations

At Age UK, our partnerships with Trusts and Foundations enable us to deliver tailored support that addresses the most pressing needs of older people locally, nationally, and internationally. We carefully manage every grant to maximise its impact.

When you collaborate with Age UK, you can expect:

  • tailored partnerships. We will align your philanthropic goals with our priorities to achieve shared success.
  • transparency and communication. We can provide you with detailed impact reports, regular updates, and opportunities for virtual or in-person engagement. You’ll also receive invitations to exclusive Age UK events to strengthen our partnership.

We pride ourselves on fostering meaningful, long-lasting relationships with our Trust and Foundation partners, ensuring every collaboration is both impactful and fulfilling.

Our valued Trust and Foundation partnerships

We are deeply grateful to the Trusts and Foundations whose support makes our work possible. Thanks to their generous contributions, we can continue to improve the lives of older people and provide crucial localised services across the country.

We would also like to thank all our donors who wish to remain anonymous. Your support is invaluable.

How the LTA Tennis Foundation is helping

Trusts and Foundations help us bring a lasting impact to older people's lives. Thanks to the support of the LTA Tennis Foundation, Age UK's Walking Tennis programme is now being run by local Age UKs across the country, and is helping older people to stay active while building new connections.
