Dunelm and Age UK

Delivering Joy to older people in need this Christmas.

This Christmas, Dunelm will be working with over 50 Local Age UKs to deliver Christmas gifts to older people who might not otherwise receive one.

Delivering Joy is Dunelm’s annual Christmas campaign that embraces the gift of giving and helps deliver joy in local communities to those who need it most and the people who care for them, including to local care homes, primary schools, and refuges. Last year Dunelm customers and colleagues provided gifts to over 2,200 older people – and this year, we’re aiming even higher.

How you can help

Here are 3 simple ways to get involved:

  1. Give a gift: Pick a gift request tag from the Christmas tree in your local Dunelm store, buy or craft the perfect gift and pop in a gift bag ready to bring back to the store by the return date.
  2. Donate in-store: Once all the gift tags are gone, each tree will be re-decorated with festive baubles featuring donation barcodes. Simply pick a bauble with your chosen donation amount and take it to the till to give as part of your shop.
  3. Donate online: If you can’t come to store, click the button below to deliver joy online.

  • information, advice and friendship delivered over the phone across the country
  • frontline support in communities where Dunelm colleagues and customers live, delivered by local Age UKs.

Plus, Dunelm is committed to using all their assets to help older people in their communities directly – including staff volunteering, donating products or through customer activities in store, in Pausa Cafes and online.
