📢 Introducing Senior Voices: Amplifying the Voices of Gateshead’s 50+ Community! 📢
At Age UK Gateshead, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of Senior Voices – a council dedicated to representing the needs and perspectives of those aged 50+ in Gateshead. This initiative is a platform for older adults to come together, share their experiences, voice concerns, and actively shape the services and policies that impact their lives.
Our goal is to ensure that older people have a say in local decisions, advocating for enhanced community support, improved services, and meaningful policy change. By working alongside our community, we’re committed to making a lasting, positive difference.
What will the council do?
• Provide a platform for older adults to express their views.
• Identify and raise awareness of issues affecting older people.

• Share the concerns of older people and propose solutions.
• Help gather and share information from other older people in the community.
