Careline Role Description
Do you enjoy chatting on the phone? Do you want to help older people facing loneliness and isolation?
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a friendly, empathetic and patient person to join our volunteering team who phone older people in their homes and have friendly, supportive conversations with them and provide a listening ear.

Social Support, supporting people 50+ with a friendly voice over the phone. |

Phoning from your own home |
Day & Time: |
Any day between 2-4pm |
Main Tasks: |
·To phone identified older people in their homes · To have friendly and supportive chats for approximately 5 minutes. |
What we need from you: |
· To have good speaking and listening skills. · To be friendly and have a sense of humour. · Ability to treat older people with respect. · Have patience and empathy. · Confidence in engaging in conversation with people. · An open mind and able to see people as individuals. · Willing to complete a DBS |
