First Dawlish Scouts Eat Together for Age UK Exeter

We were over the moon when 1st Dawlish Scouts told us they wanted to hold an #EatTogether event and raise money for Age UK Exeter. On 12th October 2019, they invited their friends and family along for some delicious food, lovingly cooked by their own hands.

Everyone had a wonderful time and said how good the food was and what a great idea it was for the scouts to be so aware of loneliness amongst older people. The gang raised an amazing £251 on the night which will pay for an isolated older person to have a weekly volunteer visit for a whole year - life-changing!
