It can be difficult thinking about what will happen towards the end of your life, and we often put off thinking or talking about it.
But being well informed can help you to consider all of your options and get your affairs in order. Planning ahead can give you confidence and reassurance that your wishes are documented, ensuring that those close to you know what you want, should there come a time when you can no longer make your own decisions. And you can rest assured you can always change your plans in the future.
The free awareness sessions for people over 50 and their carers, will cover all aspects of planning for later life, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions. We will also have some materials available for you to take home.
The groups provide a safe, open and non-judgmental space for you to discuss your thoughts and feelings about your wishes, and share experiences with others.
Sessions are held in various locations in Enfield, and we can provide 1:1 individually tailored sessions for those with life-limiting conditions.
