If you are experiencing difficulties with heating supply and energy costs then HEET may be able to help.
HEET is a not-for-profit working in North-East London since 1998. We have worked in partnership with Enfield Citizens Advice and Age UK Enfield for several years providing advice and support for residents facing hardship due to energy costs.
Home Energy Visits
If you are experiencing issues as a result of being on low income, at risk of cold-related health problems, poor quality or badly heated housing and fuel debt, then please contact us.
HEET can carry out a free in-home energy survey which, depending on your circumstances may include:
- advice on energy saving
- advocacy to resolve issues with suppliers
- small energy-saving measures, for instance draught-proofing doors
- grant scheme referrals for new gas boilers or insulation
- advice for private or social housing tenants on asking for home improvements related to health and fuel costs
- a new or updated Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) to help clients understand how their home could be improved
All of HEET's services are free to clients subject to health and income eligibility criteria.
