Age UK Enfield is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Glass as their new Chief Executive with effect from Monday, 3rd October 2022.

Commenting on Peter’s appointment, Elaine Adkin, Chair, Age UK Enfield said:

“On behalf of the Board I am very pleased to announce Peter’s appointment.   He comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge that will enable us to continue our goal in improving the lives of older people living in Enfield through the provision of professional, caring and safe services and activities that improve health and well-being.

Peter is joining us at a time when the Charity faces new challenges responding to the rising costs of living and inflation and these will be of primary concern as we move forward.  That said, we successfully acted in response to Covid and the Board is confident we will again be diligent, focused and professionalism in the continuation of delivering our broad range of services.”

Peter Glass, new CEO, Age UK Enfield, said:

“I am very pleased to be joining Age UK Enfield at this pivotal time.  Enfield is a diverse and exciting place to be and with the Charity’s excellent staff and volunteers and new five-year strategy, I am excited and confident that we will continue to make a real positive difference to the older people of the Borough.    I am also looking forward to meeting and working with the many organisations, charities and funders without whom we would not be able to do as much as we do.”

Peter Glass was previously Executive Director of Operations at Cranstoun’s and takes over from Ben Ingber who departed in July following his two year tenure during which time he oversaw and adapted the charity’s management and important delivery of services during the Covid pandemic.
