The Big Knit is back for 2021

With more time on our hands at home, it's the perfect opportunity to join the innocent Big Knit campaign and start knitting little hats for us. So grab your needles and brightest yarn and stat knitting for Age UK Enfield to help us to be there for older people who have no one else to turn to.

Age UK Enfield raised over £700 last year after nearly 2,500 wonderful tiny hats were knitted by our clients and volunteers! This year, we think we can go even bigger, as many of us are spending much of our time at home due to the coronavirus pandemic. If you, or anyone you know, are struggling for activities to keep you busy or you are suffering with anxiety as a result of what's going on in the world, starting a new activity and getting creative can be really beneficial to your mental health. 

We send off your knitted hats and for every behatted innocent smoothie that gets sold, Age UK Enfield  will receive 25p to help older people during the cold winter months.
