Macmillan Community Information Services Support Worker - Permanent

 

Hours:                  PT  –  (Tue/Wed/ Thu am) 17.5 hours Job Share

Location:             Based at the Hastings Community Info Hub and home

Salary:                 £29,338 pro rata

Are you:

  • Confident marketing a new service
  • Empathetic to the issues associated with living with cancer
  • Experienced at developing networks and partnerships
  • Able to work on your own initiative
  • A great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Do you have:

  • Experience of delivering services with clear contract targets
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Confidence to market and expand a new service
  • Knowledge of cancer support within the community
  • Some experience of working with volunteers

 

We are seeking to fill a new post to help mobile an exciting new service. To support the development of volunteer delivered Macmillan Community Information Outreach Services and to build the awareness of people living with and affected by cancer.
