Location: Hastings
Responsible to: Retail Area Manager
Purpose: Manage your shop to achieve sales and profit targets, Sorting, Pricing, Processing and Merchandising stock in order to maximise availability.
Hours: 40 hours a week across 5 days, flexible to include Weekend and Bank Holidays working on a rota basis)
Salary: £25,376
Holiday: 5 weeks Holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata)
Due to the expansion of our extremely successful Hastings Shop, Age UK East Sussex is looking to take on a new Shop Manager, to maximise the Income and Profit of the shop to support the local work of the charity.
Shop Manager Retail experience is essential, experience within charity retail is desirable however not essential. You will need to have experience of customer service, be well organised and have a background of achieving targets and maintaining high standards. You must be motivated to lead a team to maximise profits to support our charity.
Our Shop Managers must have the ability to lead from the front, manage a diverse group of staff and volunteers and be proactively looking to further progress our business.
