I’m pleased to share Age UK East London’s latest Annual Review with you: Age UK East London’s Annual Review 2023-2024. Thank you for sharing our vision to make East London a place where people can age well, and live happy, healthy, fulfilled lives.

Here are a few highlights from our review, showcasing some of our achievements in the last year:

Last year Age UK East London supported 23,361 older people and their carers across Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham. We also consulted 150 older people who helped shape our five-year strategy, and gave us their four priorities for aging well, being independent, heard, informed and connected.

It was also my first year as Chair of trustees and I’m very proud of the direction that the organisation is taking. At a time when older people’s lives in East London have become harder, it is crucial that this charity is bold in its vision for East London to be a place where people age well, and where older people live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
