Dementia Services

Glen Vue Dementia Services believe that with the best care and support, people can live well with Dementia. Group members take part in meaningful and stimulating activities, proven to help maintain memory and mental functioning. The groups provide a fun, supportive environment where people can build new friendships.

We are really excited to announce our Dementia Service is now open 5 Days a week at our Glen Vue Community Centre.

Monday 10am to 1:15pm 

Tuesday - Friday 10am to 3pm

All days include a two course hot lunch.

At Glen Vue Dementia Services, we provide a wide range of engaging activities and support, creating ‘good memories’ that bring joy, foster connection, and celebrate each member’s unique story. Our program includes activities such as creative arts, interactive games, technology, sing-alongs, music sessions, and gentle exercises designed to enhance both physical and mental well-being. With a warm and welcoming environment, our dedicated staff and volunteers offer open dialogue and encouragement, helping to build confidence, ease anxiety, and promote a sense of community. Age UK East Grinstead & District is committed to addressing the growing need for meaningful, compassionate support within our community.

Embedded within our service is support for the carer. We provide emotional and practical assistance, active listening, and referrals to appropriate services, ensuring carers feel supported and confident that their loved ones are in a safe, engaging environment.
