Christmas Party

Members, volunteers and staff of Age UK East Grinstead and District went to the annual Christmas party, which year held at Chequer Mead on Friday 15th December. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the traditional Christmas dinner provided by The Lodge Coffee Shop, presents were given out and there was even a visit from Santa (aka our Chef, Cliff) and an extremely grumpy elf (Barry). The raffle was drawn and many people went away with a prize donated by one of the many supportive businesses in East Grinstead. Thanks to East Grinstead Town Council for subsidising the cost of the meals for members and to Lana Scott who did all the organising and arranging.
