Celebrating the stories of older people across Ealing

We had a fantastic time at the Private View for our collaborative art project, A Life Well Lived, held at The Ealing Project on Friday 2nd September.

We were joined by many of the talented artists who took part in the project, as well as the nine wonderful Age UK Ealing volunteers and service users whose stories inspired the artworks on display.

The exhibition, which is set to move to the University of West London's Geller School of Aging and Memory this week as part of The Ealing BEAT Art Trail, paired up local artists with members of the Age UK Ealing community to highlight the stories and experiences of older people across the borough. Each artist created a unique piece of art, in celebration of the lives and voices of one of our community members.

It was an incredible project to be a part of, and we're grateful to our partners the Borough of Ealing Art Trail for bringing these stories to life.

Thanks also to The University of West LondonThe Ealing Project, and our sponsors Tetley's, Everyone Active, Bread Street Cafe Ealing and Sxollie.

And of course, a huge thank you to our artists and the members of our community who inspired their creations:
