Footcare Meet and Greet Volunteer
This volunteer position supports our Independence at Home team. The role involves being the face of Age UK Devon welcoming people to our Foot Care Clinic.
Where:
Age UK Devon, 1 Manaton Court, Matford Business Park, Exeter, EX8 2PF
When:
Our Foot Care Clinics take place every 4 - 6 weeks on a Friday from 9.30am until 3.00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helping to prepare the room before and after clinics.
- Welcoming clients to the clinic which includes advising where they/their carers can park, providing drinks and chatting while they wait for their appointment.
- Advising the Foot Care Practitioners that clients have arrived.

Our commitment to you:
- We will complete a volunteer induction with you providing information about Age UK Devon, the services we provide and full details of the volunteering role.
- You will be working in a friendly office environment where a named person will be on hand to provide you with support.
- Any travel expenses you incur to fullfill the volunteering role.
- You will gain experience of working with older people and their carers.
- You will become apart of the Age UK Devon volunteering team, receiving our regular Volunteering eNewsletter and the opportunity to take part in events/celebrations for our volunteers.
