Fundraise your way

We know the people of Devon are extremely talented and creative and we would love to see you use your knowledge, skills and experience to fundraise for us.

If you are in need of inspiration here are a few ideas:

• Auction of Promises – visit local businesses and ask them to donate their services for you to auction off, or ask your friends to join you in promising to wash cars, mow lawns or do housework for the highest bidder.
• Trivia Night – why not host a trivia night at a local pub, community centre or school hall. Teams could be asked to pay a nominal donation to play.
• The Present Exchange – for your birthday or anniversary this year why not ask for donations to be given to Age UK Devon instead of being given presents.
• Street Party – come together with your neighbours and host a traditional street party and request donations to attend.
• Mile of Pennies – collect enough pennies to cover a mile and then donate them all to us
• Give it up – is there a bad habit that you could give up for 30 days and collect sponsorship for doing so. This could be your opportunity to give up chocolate, coffee or smoking.
• Bake Sale - could you bake up a storm in the kitchen and host a sale at your home, work or school.
• Fancy Dress Day - pick a theme and encourage everyone to come in fancy dress one day at work or school or perhaps for fun dress up in costume yourself everyday for a month.
• Sporting Challenge - run, bike or swim a challenging distance of your choice and collect sponsorship for your achievement. This is a great way to keep motivated to meet your end goal.

The list above is not conclusive and I’m sure you will come up with an amazing idea.
