As we get older, keeping our minds and body active boosts our mood, aids independence, helps us to increase sleep and connect with others.

Our Mind and Body 75 Challenge is encouraging everyone to mark our 75th year by challenging yourself to keep your mind and body active in whatever way you choose and experience the benefits of doing so.

Achieving personal challenges can be even more rewarding when raising funds for charity at the same time. If you are looking for a new challenge then we have one for you… as it is our 75th year why not challenge yourself to achieve 75 somethings with a focus on being active in mind and/or body, one for each year, making a donation to Age UK Devon on completion.

If you are looking for an energetic challenge perhaps you could run, walk, ride or swim 75 miles over the month or year. Or if you prefer quieter activities perhaps you could read 75 books or knit 75 scarves for older people in your area. Instead of just one activity perhaps you would like to challenge yourself to complete 75 different activities for your mind and body!

No challenge is too big or too small when you are trying to achieve personal goals. This is something that we come across regularly when supporting older people across Devon. We’d love to celebrate your accomplishment with you so please get in touch and let us know how your Mind and Body 75 Challenge is going.

Don't just pledge your support but get your friends and family involved too! Perhaps you could keep each other going by completing your choosen activity together or if your competitive see who can complete their personal challenge first.

How to donate
