Age UK Derby and Derbyshire is a local independent charity with 60 staff members. We help over 1500 local older people every year, offering activities, events, befriending and information. It's a great place to work if you really want to make a difference in people's lives.

Sometimes roles within Age UK Derby and Derbyshire require our staff to have a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Services) before they can start work with us.  If this is necessary for a role you are applying for we will let you know, please be assured we would not expect a perspective employee to pay for their own check.  Any DSB check arrangements would be made after interview.

    Retail Assistants

    We have zero hours contracts available for Retail Assistants to cover in any of our 11 shops around Derbyshire.

    Drivers

    Zero hours available for both our Derby or Chesterfield shops.

    To support the shops and warehouse, ensuring efficient appropriate stock is collected and purchases delivered to customers to provide a high quality retail service.

    Assistant Charity Shop Managers

    We are looking to appoint an Assistant Manager for our furniture and retail shop in Chaddesden and our retail shop in Alvaston, 13 hours per week each.

    To support our independent shops in Derbyshire, maximising income generation for our charitable services.
