IT and Tech savvy Volunteers required in the High Peak Area

We are looking for six volunteers to help us with a short test and report project, the Digital Social Skills Project.  The Project will evaluate how we can help older people become better connected in a digital world as we believe no one should be left behind.

Have you got the skills, patience and empathy to help guide clients to their digital ambition?  By finding ways to make their device simpler to use and more suited to their needs, it might be a desire to join in a Zoom meeting, get to grips with social media, learn how to shop online, pay bills or to be able to access online Doctor’s appointments.  Contact with the clients will be in line with current Covid-19 guidance and may be by phone, email, video or face to face if appropriate (with PPE provided) we anticipate each client is likely to need just a few hours support.
