AUKDD Family event

On September 28^th we had our first family event at Trent College in Long Eaton.

We were blessed with good weather and attracted many families who enjoyed the ‘Nature Trail’ and the delicious cream teas. This was the first time we had organized this type of event and were pleased with the result. We will certainly be repeating next year. Thank you to Asda Derby and Asda Long Eaton for arranging the tombola. Thank you to Trent College for allowing us to use such lovely grounds. Thank you to the scouts and everyone involved in the food. Finally a special thank you to all the volunteers who put in so much tme to arraneg a lovely event.

All money raised was for Age UK Derby and Derbyshire to help and support local older people.
