At Age Cymru West Glamorgan, we are committed to being there for local people who need us, and every donation helps us reach individuals across Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, and Bridgend. We receive very limited funding from Welsh Government and we operate independently of Age Cymru, which means we rely heavily upon donations from you, the public, to help us continue to provide our vital services for older people in your area.

What are Standing Orders?

A standing order is an instruction you give to your bank or building society to make payments, usually on a regular basis, to a specified customer at another bank or building society in the UK. Any person or company with a current account at a bank or building society can give a standing order instruction.

If you are considering becoming a regular supporter of Age Cymru West Glamorgan, setting up a Standing Order is often the best option because of the control you have over the frequency and size of your donations. Additionally, if you should wish to change or cancel your monthly payments, you can do so at any time by contacting your bank.

How do Standing Orders help us?

Our community has faced unprecedented difficulties in the wake of the pandemic. We are proud of how our organisation, employees and volunteers have adapted to meet the changing needs of our clients while continuing to provide our core services, like our FREE Information and Advice Service, but we need your help to make our efforts go even further.

As a small local charity, standing orders help us to not only survive but also plan ahead and prepare for the future. Regular donations mean that we can adapt to crisis and emergencies, ensuring that we can always be there for our community when it needs us. Whether it is £3, £10 or £25 a month, your support is invaluable.

How do I set up a Standing Order?
