Age Cymru West Glamorgan Launches Emergency Appeal

Sadly, our charity has seen a 47% decrease in funding, and we urgently need your help to continue offering our vital services across Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend.
This winter is going to be the most challenging our charity has ever faced, even worse than the pandemic. The soaring cost of living means more and more people need our help. We’ve never had so much demand and so little funding.
The people who are reaching out to us are dealing with truly distressing choices, demand for our support is skyrocketing and we can’t reach everyone with the resources we currently have. People really are having to choose between eating or putting the heating on. It’s not a cost-of-living crisis, it’s a living crisis.
We’re launching our first ever Emergency Fund Appeal, to help meet the increased need to make sure we can answer all the calls for help this winter.
Each donation made is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to ensure those who need our support the most, receives it this winter. Help to help us answer more calls, put food on the table and heat homes.

We can’t express how important this appeal is and we thank you all for your generosity in helping older people in our local community.
Thank you.
