Exciting times at Y Cartref this autumn

Now that the autumn season has arrived it is time to renew the activity schedule at Y Cartref.  We will be adding many entertaining activities to the current timetable.

We're looking forward to starting Bingo sessions on Friday afternoons. An afternoon filled with fun awaits you with a variety of prizes on offer and food for a bargain price of £7 for two courses and a cuppa!

Starting in October we have a wide programme of entertaining speakers to take your interest. The initial session will be on the 1st of October with talks including local stories, artefacts and much more.

Christmas is fast approaching, so remember to book your Christmas Lunch with us, whether you are booking for just a few or for a large group!  We were very busy last Christmas and we anticipate that it will busier this year due to the positive reviews that the café has received over past 12 months. A 3 course Christmas Lunch will be available at a reasonable price of £12.50 per person, so book in advance to book a place - we will be starting the Christmas Lunch from the week commencing 12^th November 2018 onwards!

We are very eager to receive your feedback and ideas for the future as we are always looking to expand on the provision that we have here. For example, Caffi’r Cartref has recently started preparing 'take-away' food for funeral teas and birthday parties and we are still looking into establishing a Home-based meals service for Bontnewydd, Dinas and Llanwnda.

So come along anytime to visit us at Y Cartref for a chat and a cuppa, there is always a warm welcome for everyone!

We are also always looking for volunteers to help us at Y Cartref, so if you have a few hours which you can kindly spare each week, then why not become a volunteer for Age Cymru Gwynedd and Môn?
