Blaenau Gwent Housing Support Service provides benefits advice and accommodation support to people aged 50 years and over.

Who can access the service?

The service is available to everyone over 50 in the Blaenau Gwent area. It doesn't matter what your current accommodation circumstances are, our aim is to enable you to live independently in the community.

What support is available?

We can help with:
- Support in managing financial issues, maximising income, payment plans, budgeting and claiming welfare benefits.
- Support with available housing options, e.g., private rented, social housing, shared accommodation.
- Help in understanding in terms of a tenancy.
- Obtaining aids and adaptations to assist you in remaining independent in your home.
- Help dealing with correspondence.
