The Tablet Loan Scheme provides digitally excluded older people with a tablet device and connectivity for a fixed period (6–8 weeks). The scheme enables older people to utilise online benefits that can improve their lives, to learn how to use a tablet and to make an informed decision as to whether they would like to purchase their own device at the end of the loan period.

The project is aimed at community groups, to get their communities involved in digital activities, services, training. This is also an opportunity to get involved in online activities provided by 3rd sector organisations.
